Terms of Service

Signday connects youth baseball players (“Athletes”) with current college baseball players (“Mentors”) for paid 1-on-1 recruiting advice, mentorship, and coaching calls. Signday also provides optional tools for organizing your own recruiting process—a player profile, school tracking, and the NCAA recruiting calendar.

Signday is a platform that facilitates the connection, scheduling, and payment between Athletes and Mentors—we are not a recruiting agent, advisor, or guarantor of outcomes, and Mentors are not employees or agents of Signday. See Mentors and Advice below for more detail.

• You must provide an accurate email address when you sign up.
• You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity that happens under your account.
• Don’t share your login or let others use your account. Each account is for one user.
• If you think your account has been compromised, contact us at hello@signday.app right away.
• You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian should review these Terms with you and should be involved in any purchase of a call or membership.

Mentors are independent current college baseball players, not employees, agents, contractors, or representatives of Signday. Signday does not employ Mentors, does not control the content of their advice, and does not guarantee their availability, credentials beyond what is listed on their profile, or the quality of any call.

Advice given by a Mentor reflects that Mentor’s personal experience and opinion. It is not professional, legal, financial, or recruiting-guarantee advice, and Signday is not responsible for the content of any Mentor’s advice or for any decision you make based on it.

Mentors are responsible for their own compliance with any applicable NCAA, conference, or institutional rules regarding paid outside activities. Signday does not review or certify that compliance.

Treat Mentors with respect. Harassment, threats, or abusive behavior toward a Mentor (or by a Mentor toward an Athlete) is grounds for immediate account suspension.

A single call is a one-time purchase for one video call with a specific Mentor. A membership is a recurring monthly purchase that includes a set number of calls per month, as described on the pricing section of our homepage at the time of purchase.

Calls are scheduled directly with your Mentor after purchase. If a Mentor is unavailable or a call needs to be rescheduled, contact us at hello@signday.app and we will help coordinate a new time or, where appropriate, a refund through Whop.

Pricing for a single call and for the monthly membership is listed on the signday.app homepage and may change from time to time.

Payments are processed by Whop. By purchasing a call or membership you also agree to Whop’s terms and payment policies. Signday never stores your payment card details.

Memberships renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date. You can cancel at any time through your Whop account. After cancellation, your access continues until the end of the current paid period.

Refunds. Refund requests are handled by Whop according to their refund policy. Signday does not process refunds directly. If you believe you were charged in error, or a call could not be completed, contact hello@signday.app and we will help you work through it with Whop.

You agree not to:

• Use Signday for any unlawful purpose or in violation of anyone else’s rights.
• Attempt to access another user’s account or data.
• Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data from the platform without written permission.
• Upload or transmit malware, viruses, or any code intended to harm the service or other users.
• Use the service to harass, stalk, or deceive Mentors, coaches, programs, or other users.
• Attempt to circumvent booking, payment, or access controls.
• Misrepresent your identity, stats, grades, or any recruiting information.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these rules at our discretion, without prior notice.

You own the content you put into Signday—your profile data, recruiting notes, contact logs, and anything else you enter. By using Signday, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display that content solely to provide the service to you (including, for Mentors, displaying your public mentor profile to Athletes browsing the platform).

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter, including stats and profile information shared through your public player or mentor profile.

If you delete your account, your content is deleted from our systems within 30 days.

If you enable a public player profile, or if you are onboarded as a Mentor, that profile will be accessible to anyone using Signday (and, for player profiles with a public slug enabled, anyone on the internet including search engines). You or Signday choose what information to include. By making a profile public, you consent to that information being viewable without restriction.

We log page views on public player profiles (timestamp and referrer) to show you when coaches may have viewed your profile. We do not identify or track the viewers themselves.

Signday facilitates mentorship calls and provides organizational tools. Using it does not guarantee scholarship offers, coach responses, roster spots, admissions decisions, or any recruiting outcome. All recruiting results depend entirely on you, your abilities, your outreach, and the decisions of coaches and programs—advice from a Mentor is one input among many.

The Signday name, logo, design, code, and content (other than your own data) are owned by Samuel Jenkins and protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute any part of Signday without written permission.

School and university logos, marks, and names displayed on Signday are the property of their respective institutions and are used solely for identification and informational purposes (including identifying a Mentor’s college). Their display does not imply endorsement, affiliation, or partnership with Signday. Signday is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially connected to any college or university listed on the platform.

Signday integrates with Supabase (database and auth), Whop (payments for calls and memberships), and Vercel (hosting). These are separate services with their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the acts or omissions of these third parties.

Signday is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied—including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We don’t warrant that the service will always be available, error-free, or that data will never be lost, or that any Mentor will be available at any given time. Use it at your own risk.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Samuel Jenkins and Signday will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost data, lost recruiting opportunities, or any loss arising from your use of or inability to use the service, a Mentor’s advice, or a missed or cancelled call—even if we were advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from Signday will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose, or $100, whichever is greater.

You agree to defend and hold harmless Samuel Jenkins, Signday, and any affiliated personnel from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the service, your content, your conduct toward another user, or your violation of these Terms.

You can stop using Signday and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or if we believe continued access creates risk. If we terminate your account without cause, we will refund any unused prepaid subscription time.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the state in which Samuel Jenkins operates Signday, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the appropriate courts of that jurisdiction.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above. For significant changes, we may also notify you by email. Continuing to use Signday after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
