Privacy Policy

Account information. When you create an account we collect your email address and a password. Passwords are hashed by Supabase—we never see or store them in plain text.

Player profile data. Information you voluntarily enter about yourself or your player: name, graduation year, position, height, weight, GPA, city, state, throwing/batting hand, velocity, exit velocity, and a video URL. None of this is required to create an account—you choose what to fill in.

Recruiting data. School lists, coach contact logs, notes, showcase attendance records, campus visit logs, and offer information you track inside the app. This data is private to your account by default.

Public profile activity. If you create a public player profile at signday.app/p/[your-slug], we log each time that page is viewed—including the timestamp and the referrer URL (the page that linked to yours). We do not store the visitor’s name or log-in status; view logs are anonymous.

Payment information. Subscription payments are handled entirely by Whop. We never see or store your credit card number or full billing details. We do receive your plan status (Free, Pro, or Elite) and a Whop membership ID so we can grant the correct level of access.

Usage and analytics data. Standard web server logs and analytics—pages visited, time spent, browser type, device type, and IP address—collected automatically to keep the service running and improve it over time.

• Create and maintain your account and player profile.
• Run the recruiting workflow features: school search, pipeline, contact log, visits, showcases, and the NCAA recruiting calendar.
• Display your public player profile at your chosen slug if you enable one.
• Sync your subscription plan from Whop so the right features are unlocked.
• Send transactional emails such as email confirmation and password resets. We don’t send marketing email unless you opt in separately.
• Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
• Improve the product and fix bugs.
• Comply with legal obligations.

We don’t sell your personal information. We share it only as described below.

• Supabase — Our database and authentication provider. Your account data and recruiting data are stored on Supabase infrastructure. Supabase Privacy Policy.
• Whop — Our payment and subscription platform. When you upgrade to Pro or Elite, you interact directly with Whop’s checkout. Whop sends us a webhook confirming your plan status. Whop Privacy Policy.
• Vercel — Our hosting provider. Web requests and server logs pass through Vercel’s infrastructure. Vercel Privacy Policy.
• Legal requirements. We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Signday or others.
• Business transfers. If Signday is acquired or merges with another company, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We would notify you if that happens.

School names, logos, and related marks displayed on this platform belong to their respective institutions. They are displayed for identification purposes only.

If you set a profile slug, your player profile page is publicly accessible on the internet without a login—including by search engines, coaches, and anyone with the link. Only the information you choose to display on your profile is public. Your contact logs, recruiting notes, visited schools, and private data are never shown on your public profile.

You can remove your public profile at any time by clearing your profile slug in account settings.

Signday uses cookies and similar browser storage primarily to keep you logged in (session cookies set by Supabase Auth). We may also use analytics cookies to understand how the product is used. We don’t use advertising tracking cookies or sell data to ad networks.

You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings. Blocking session cookies will prevent you from staying logged in.

We keep your account and recruiting data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your profile and recruiting data within 30 days, except where we’re required by law to retain certain records longer.

Aggregated, anonymized analytics data that cannot be linked back to you may be retained indefinitely.

Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text. Database access is controlled by row-level security policies so each user can only read their own data. API routes that touch sensitive operations require authentication. Webhook endpoints validate a shared secret before processing.

No system is completely secure. If you believe you’ve found a security issue, please email us at hello@signday.app before disclosing it publicly.

You can update or delete most of your profile information directly inside the app. To request a full export or deletion of your account and all associated data, email us at hello@signday.app and we will process your request within 30 days.

California residents (CCPA). Under the California Consumer Privacy Act, California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect and how it is used, request deletion of their personal information, and opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information. To exercise your rights, contact us at hello@signday.app.

Signday is designed for high school student-athletes and their families. Many of our users may be under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent. If a parent or guardian believes their child under 13 has created an account, please contact us at hello@signday.app and we will delete the account.

If we make material changes to this Privacy Policy, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we may also notify you by email.
